ABOUT Leah W. RMT, Equine Bodyworker/ Therapist, Laser Technician
Nice to meet you through my web page, my name is Leah Walstrom, I am an Equine Massage, and RMT (Registered Massage Therapist). I chose the equine wellness path because I wanted to expand into helping more than just people. I enjoy watching animals and humans feel good in their own bodies.
I have taken many certifications to add to my knowledge so I can keep growing in my treatments and better help those who are seeking it. I have always admired horses and thought they were gorgeous and capable of so much!!
I have always just wanted to help and improve lives of those around me. This is the way I can help by using my skills and talents I have gained over the course of my Life/Career. I enjoy many things outside of the healing world, I am a mother and have wonderful children who remind me everyday that I am important. I enjoy learning and listening to many things science related and to how our minds work and function I find it very fascinating!
I do Travel for Equine and RMT, I direct bill.
ABOUT Cherri P. RMT
In the Registered Massage Therapy world for over 25 years, started at the Foothills College of Massage Therapy. Over the years I've learned what techniques work best with my treatment plans and which tools are keepers. I've found Grastons tools, paraffin wax with castor oil, cupping, light therapy, and Himalayan salt rocks to be very effective in treating musculoskeletal conditions. I offer LED treatments and I always make sure that my clients need are met within each session.
ABOUT Paris T. RMT, Equine Bodyworker/ Registered Massage Therapist
Hey All!
Some of you that know me know I’m an avid horse loving, outdoorsy gal but I also hold a strong passion for the simplicity, relaxing, nourishing environment that a massage treatment room holds. Some may say I spend too many hours in there…;) but I truly find comfort in knowing that i'm helping individuals improve their way of life, physical state & well being.
I grew up in a small town in eastern alberta, everyone knew everyone- therefore- I understand personalization to each client as well as establishing professional relationships as an RMT to assist all my clients along their wellness journey.
Graduating RMT school in 2023- I have been working hard to establish & find my massage “style” and techniques that I find fit me best along with which techniques are most beneficial during a massage treatment.
I offer Relaxation, Therapeutic-which is also known as “deep tissue”, pre/post natal, myofascial work as well as Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage(IASTM) - I thrive to continually expand my knowledge & skills through continuing education courses - So if there is something that youd like to see brought into town let me know!
Getting to the end of my write up I should probably mention why I “chose” massage in the first place.. Well, Since a young age I wanted to make a positive difference in the world- I knew a few very impactful massage therapists growing up in my small town and I absolutely admired what they did, help others & offer what they felt so passionate about. Graduating high school during the middle of Covid I was extremely grateful to be able to attend Alberta College Of Massage Therapy for the following 2 years- After that I attended Olds College to pursue Equine Massage Therapy where I graduated with honours and offer today as well through my Equine Business “Spirit Equine Massage Therapy & Bodywork” !
Thank you for taking the time to read a bit about me! As a firm believer in “We hold our issues in our tissues” I look forward to meeting all new & returning clients, as I assist you along your wellness journey!

About White Fox Massage & Equine Therapeutics
Started out as a RMT looking to make the world a but better for those who are seeking to better themselves through healing their bodies. After a few years in the field of people and learning different skill sets I wanted to do something more. As I was searching for different modalities to add to my skill set I came across Equine Massage.
I was a bit hesitant at first, due to an accident with a horse when I was little. I felt very drawn to this course. I applied and now i am currently almost done. The connections I’ve made through horses and myself, classmates and instructors has been very eye opening.
I want to make the equine world better for those who are ready to embrace changes. I want to help build knowledge that everyone can learn from and grow and add. I can see the equine world being able to reach more potential and horses themselves having better lives. When I say this I know many horses live good lives have many people in professions as well as their owners caring for them.
In the science side of things there is so much to be expanded and I look forward to learning and growing from those before me and those who come after me. My main goals here are to being healing and knowledge of health to those who I work on, with, and for. Currently expanding and making sure that equine care and RMT is accessible to all people and horses. I look forward to keep building my knowledge in Human science and learning more about the human body and how we are so connected within ourselves yet how far we are from the connection within us.
Equine Therapeutics include the following services
· Deep/Therapeutic Massage
· Kinesiology Taping
· Sports Massage
· BioFlex Laser Therapy (LLLT)
· Human/ Equine Gait Analysis
Horses are an amazing animal, they are resilient and built for survival. We’ve been taught that when they are showing bad behaviour its due to an attitude or just being difficult. This in reality could actually be discomfort/ Pain and they can only communicate that to us through gestures. They don’t speak, they are heard animals their language is touch. To understand what they need we need to step back and watch what they are telling us.
Sometimes this is a minor thing, or it could be a huge deal, some horses don’t show their pain and hold onto that ego. So when they finally can’t hold out any longer they may go limp “out of the blue” but in reality the signs have been there we just don’t pay attention because they still are doing the work.
Sometimes, many tools are needed upfront, other times I like to start with just massage after I do an assessment. Sometimes I will do laser in one area after the massage because there is known Arthritis or major pain/ Healing required. I believe in all my tools and skills I have taken the time to learn.
I look forward to hearing from you and getting your horse(s) up to their highest potential.
